Join us for our October Health Council Luncheon discussing Breast Cancer with Keynote Speaker, Dr. Sahni from Mayo Clinic! We encourage you to go ahead and register for this upcoming event, as we can guarantee it’ll be informative, fun and a great opportunity to network with the First Coast’s healthcare community.
Guest Speaker: Dr. Sahni from Mayo Clinic
Sabrina K. Sahni, MD, NCMP is a graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities where she completed her undergraduate education and received a B.A. in Human Physiology. She continued her education at St. Matthews University School of Medicine where she received her medical degree. Dr. Sahni then went on to complete her Family Medicine Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University – Riverside Family Medicine and is dual fellowship trained in Specialized Women’s Health and Medical Breast both completed at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. She now serves as a staff physician and breast specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Sahni is a board-certified family medicine physician and a National Certified Menopause Practitioner. She’s an active member of the Association for Healthcare Social Media, National Consortium of Breast Centers, North American Menopause Society, International Society for the Study of Sexual Women’s Health, American Academy of Family Physicians and Academy of Women’s Health.
Spotlight Speaker: Paige Tyrrell, FreshJax Organic Spices
Paige Tyrrell serves as the Corporate Gifting Specialist and Events Coordinator for FreshJax Organic Spices, but she didn’t quite start out in the field of “flavor”. After earning her Bachelors in Zoology, she went on to study Animal Behavior and worked to care for some of the world’s most exotic creatures. (Tigers are her favorite!) After becoming more involved in community outreach, she knew she needed to take a step back from animal care and transition to a role that provides more help where it’s needed. Driven by her passion to help hungry children, so became the jump from species to spices where she gets to help out members of our community every single day.
