Join us as First Coast Worksite Wellness Council’s (FCWWC) Co-Chair Lindsey Russell and Membership Director Rachel Miller share key selection criteria, best practices and success stories of healthy Jacksonville companies in anticipation of the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council Awards in May.
Lindsey Russell is an Onsite Wellness Manager, providing strategies and best practices for building engagement, productivity and creating a healthy culture in the workplace. Russell is a standout professional in corporate health and has a passion for wellness professionally and personally contributing to Health Designs leadership in the health and wellness industry on a national level. Russell came to the Jacksonville area in 2015 and originally hails from West Virginia, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from West Virginia University. She brings a broad experience of developing customized wellness strategies, implementing wellness products and services, and has even had the honor of accepting awards recognizing the healthy culture successfully created through tactical programs she has implemented and coordinated. Prior to joining Health Designs, Russell had worked with BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina as a Wellness Consultant, in addition to her breadth of experience working within healthcare companies and with vendor relations, providing support in these professional roles. In addition to serving on the Board of Governors for the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council, she volunteers her time with service events as an active member of the Beaches Rotaract.
Rachel Miller is the Health and Wellness Coordinator at ICS/RF-SMART where she supports 140 employees in their journey towards living a healthy lifestyle. Through programs such as biometric screenings, lunch and learns, chair massages, and a variety of challenges, participation rates continuously increase among all employees. With experience in university wellness, children’s health and wellness, and now worksite wellness, Rachel have touched several areas within the field.
Rachel moved to Jacksonville in 2014 after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. She is heavily involved in the local community, including volunteer work with both HabiJax and Hunger Fight. Rachel’s passion is improving the quality of life of those around her while giving back to the local community.
